Hi! I'm Timi,
the creator and founder of Raked Lines.
I am a Software Engineer by day; however, I have always had a passion for arts — especially abstract art, exploring different textures.
In 2022, I discovered textured art, ami azonnal lenyűgözött a letisztult, modern formáival és dizájnjával. Ekkor találkoztam az „Ívek és Vonalak” formavilággal, ami egyből a gereblyélt vonalak ötletére vezetett – innen született meg a Raked Lines.
I learned the basics of textured art through an online course, and as I gained more confidence, I decided to share this special art form with a wider audience - so in 2022, I started my project Raked Lines.
Workshop Story
In 2023, the idea for a collaborative artwork came up when my friend Ágota and I decided to create a painting as a gift for a mutual friend.
It was the first time I stepped out of my comfort zone and created with others. Instead of the deep, focused creation I was used to, it became valuable time spent together .
We both learned and grewduring the process: Ágota learned the steps of the creative process (and fell in love with the textured world in no time), and I realized how uplifting it is to create and teach with others.
This joyful and fun experience led us to realize that we share the same passion. So we teamed up and made it our joint mission to introduce everyone to the beauty of textured art – and that's how the Workshop idea was born.
We started all this in the beautiful city of Budapest , where Raked Lines is based.
